We are looking for a proactive and service-oriented Desktop Engineer cum Admin to join our IT team and ensure our internal technology environment operates efficiently, securely, and reliably.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure standard desktop applications are regularly patched and updated.
  • Manage Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Perform root cause analysis for network problems, performance issues, and hardware failures.
  • Prepare, install, and configure technologies and applications to support the operating systems and platforms used by the company.
  • Prepare IT status reports.
  • Implement, monitor, and maintain the security of systems and company data.
  • Manage the company's network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, and access points.

Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma in IT (preferred) or a related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of relevant working experience.
  • Basic understanding of IT and cloud computing.
  • Proficient in Windows, macOS, and preferably Linux.
  • Experience with Microsoft support tools, including Active Directory (AD), Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, storage, and networking.
  • Proficient in hardware and software installation.
  • Good knowledge of computer components, peripherals, electrical systems, and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve software issues across various applications.
  • Good understanding of networking fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of best practices for maintaining system and data security.
  • Basic knowledge of Ethernet and IP configuration troubleshooting.
  • Ability to explain technical issues and solutions clearly to non-technical users.
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001 and related standards.
  • Able to manage facilities, prepare quotations, and handle other ad hoc duties as assigned.
