What you will do:
The Intern supports our Marine & Offshore Singapore team on fire detection and suppression related projects. You will be involved in pre-sales support, design and technical documentation support, and documentation from proposal through testing and commissioning.
How you will do it:
Provide pre-sales support to Sales team, including proposal costing and attending technical clarifications meeting and/or presentation with customers
Perform design and prepare engineering drawings and documentation as per customer’s/project requirements
Provide technical support and/or propose alternative technical solutions to meet customer’s requirements
Compilation and submission of all documentations as required as per the project requirements
Configure, program, test, commission troubleshoot hardware and software programming.
Understand and perform software programming of Johnson Controls' Fire Detection panels and hydraulic calculations for fire mechanical systems
What we look for
Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
Willingness and interest in learn Fire Detection, Protection & Suppression systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD
Resourceful, results-oriented, excellent interpersonal skills and business acumen
Able to work independently and deliver results for multiple projects under tight deadlines
Able to commit to a full-time internship for 6 months preferred
