Notion is an in person company, and currently requires its employees to come to the office for two Anchor Days (Mondays & Thursdays) and requests that employees spend the majority of their week in the office (including a third day).

About The Role:

It’s a great time to join the Notion Deal Desk! We are expanding our coverage into the APAC region, and you would be our first Deal Desk hire in this Geo. We need someone to serve as an advisor, advocate, and partner locally. You will have the opportunity to design the relationship between the APAC sales team & Deal Desk, and define what the Field can expect from an International Deal Desk representative. This role reports into the Head of Deal Desk.

What You'll Achieve:

  • You will be our expert on all things deal related. You will approve quotes, advise the sales team on deal structures, support large complex deals, and deliver updates as business process & policy evolves.
  • You will represent the Deal Desk in APAC. You will work closely with APAC leadership and present a company perspective during team calls and forecast calls.
  • You will deliver regular enablement enablement & training so the field is familiar with Notion’s Quote to Cash Process & Deal Terms.
  • You will represent the APAC market to HQ. You will provide periodic read outs outlining trends, challenges, and needs from the market to Leadership + cross functional partners. You will then work with the broader Deal Desk and our partners to design strategies, resources, and decisions in support of the APAC team.
  • You will be responsible for drafting and publishing a monthly Deal Desk Newsletter to the Global Notion Sales Team.

Skills You'll Need to Bring:

  • 7+ years of experience, minimum of 3-5 years of Deal Desk
  • Fantastic communication skills. You will need to be able to quickly, accurately, and clearly summarize a deal and convey deal approval decisions.
  • An eye for detail. We will need you to catch those subtle changes that have a big impact on deal terms.
  • Demonstrated ability to flourish in a distributed team. You will be the sole representative of Deal Desk in APAC and will be mostly async with HQ, so we will rely on your ability to drive conversations and provide insights autonomously.
  • Fluency in English

Nice to Haves:

  • Working understanding of 606
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ
  • Experience drafting legal terms or legal language
  • Fluency in Korean or Mandarin is a plus!
