The Opportunity

The Deal Desk Analyst will act in a fiduciary capacity in handling first line approvals for deal approval process. This role includes structuring complex sales transactions and further Adobe goals to reduce sales cycles and accelerate deal closure. This will be accomplished by meeting with Sales teams to identify Customer's critical business issues and assist in structuring transaction that meet both Adobe's requirements and Customer needs.

What you'll Do

  • Handle day-to-day deal approval processes and contract creation

  • Act as a trusted partner to sales teams

  • Communicate deal details through detailed business cases to various stakeholders ((Business Unit, , Legal, Credit, Revenue Assurance, Audit and Compliance, Order Management, Sales Operations, Customer Success Manager)

  • Articulate deal value in a consistent manner across teams

  • Provide in-quarter deal status and updates to Sales Finance and Sales Management

  • Perform according to identified metrics and service levels

  • Evaluate current processes and recommend areas for improvement

  • Support special projects and ad-hoc analysis as needed

What you need to succeed

  • You thrive in a team environment, are self-motivated, and are very meticulous with demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills.

  • At least 5 years of experience in a Deal Desk or complex deal structuring for a fast paced MNC

  • Demonstrated success partnering with internal business units and cross functional teams

  • Excellent social skills: ability to articulate verbally and written, willingness to appropriately explain difficult issues; ability to think quickly

  • Strong analytical, commercial savvy, project management and organizational skills

  • Ability to excel in a fast paced environment; delivering accuracy in tight deadlines independently where adaptability is imperative

  • Good understanding of revenue recognition rules

  • Proficient in both written and spoken: English. Mandarin/Korean is a plus

  • Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft office applications
