As a Database Administrator (DBA) at Unison Consulting Pte Ltd, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our database systems. Your primary responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and optimizing database solutions to ensure high availability, security, and performance. You will work closely with development teams to support application needs and ensure data integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, install, configure, and maintain database management systems.
  • Monitor and optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies to ensure data protection.
  • Ensure high availability and scalability of databases.
  • Collaborate with developers to define database requirements and support application development.
  • Perform regular database audits and security checks.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for database configurations and procedures.
Requirements

Perform day-to-day database administration tasks, including monitoring and maintenance.

Assist in database installation, configuration, and patching.

Monitor database performance and optimize queries to improve efficiency.

Implement backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.

Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner.

Apply security measures, including user management and database permissions.
