The role of the Data Analyst is key to contribute to the design, delivery, and maintenance of data pipelines, datasets and analytics solutions aligned with the division’s cloud and digital manufacturing strategy.
The Data Analyst reports into the Data Solutions Lead for PRC & PSP division and is expected to work closely with a team data experts, data engineers and PowerBI developers.
The Data Analyst will work closely with the central Digital and Data team who are responsible for our cloud data platform to introduce new tools/processes and strive to implement best practices across the Data Solutions that will support the business across the PRC & PSP division.
You will:
Help develop and maintain PowerBI Dashboards, focusing on the dataset design, data modelling and report performance
Write and optimise SQL queries and DAX expressions to support reporting and analytics requirements
Support the management of the PowerBI workspace environments, including access controls, lineage and release processes
Help Build and maintain data pipelines to ingest, transform, and deliver data from source to end users
Support the integration of analytics solutions in the cloud data platform (AWS), including testing, validation and documentation
Maintain data quality across pipelines, troubleshoot failures, monitor uptime and escalate issues
Day-to-day coordination of data engineers, acting as first point of escalation and enforcing development standards
Collaborate with Business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate requirements into technical deliverables
Communicate findings and solutions in plain language to non-technical audiences
Participate in sprint planning sessions with business stakeholders for a clear definition of priorities
Contribute to a cohesive set of documentation covering data lineage, ETL processes, and data catalogue
Support data governance and data quality activities across the business
Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory polices across and deliverables
You have:
Bachelor’s degree in a technology, analytical or business-related field, or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience in a data analyst, BI developer, or data engineer role.
Working knowledge of SQL and Python for data extraction, transformation and querying
Exposure to data pipeline tools and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and communicating clearly with non-technical stakeholders
An interest in manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial data is an advantage.
Exposure o agile delivery methods is beneficial
Fluency in English
Additional languages (Spanish, French or German) are an asset given the division’s European footprint
