As a Data & Analytics Intern at Zeno, you will play a crucial role in supporting our insights team with data preparation, analysis, and reporting that informs client communication strategies. You will gain hands-on experience in the rapidly growing field of data analytics within communications, developing valuable skills that will serve you throughout your professional career, including:
- Data cleaning, preparation, and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Support in creating dashboards and visualisations that tell compelling stories from data
- Media monitoring and coverage analysis across various channels
- Assistance with social listening and sentiment analysis
- Experience using GenAI tools to enhance data processing and analysis workflows
- Research for client briefs and support on new business pitches
- Collaboration with account teams to develop data-driven recommendations
- Polytechnic or university undergraduates in relevant fields (Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Communications with a quantitative focus)
- Familiarity with data tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, or similar platforms
- Basic understanding of data visualisation principles
- Detail-oriented with a methodical approach to work
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain data insights clearly
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Interest in communications, media, and the application of data in PR strategies
- Experience with programming languages (Python, R) or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus, but not required
Qualifications
Availability: Immediate start preferred; minimum commitment of three months.
