Global Technology Solutions (GTS) at ResMed is a division dedicated to creating innovative, scalable, and secure platforms and services for patients, providers, and people across ResMed. The primary goal of GTS is to accelerate well-being and growth by transforming the core, enabling patient, people, and partner outcomes, and building future-ready operations.
The strategy of GTS focuses on aligning goals and promoting collaboration across all organizational areas. This includes fostering shared ownership, developing flexible platforms that can easily scale to meet global demands, and implementing global standards for key processes to ensure efficiency and consistency.
As ResMed continues to scale globally, our software ecosystem has grown organically— resulting in fragmented intake processes, overlapping tools, unclear ownership, and missed opportunities for reuse and cost optimization. The Data Analyst – Software Lifecycle Management will play a pivotal role in addressing these challenges through data-driven insights and analysis.
This role will leverage advanced data analysis skills—particularly in Excel, Power BI, and SQL—to enable visibility, governance, and informed decision-making across the enterprise software landscape. The ultimate objective is to help identify, rationalize, and decommission low-value or redundant applications, while supporting cost optimization, reuse opportunities, and alignment with business priorities.

- Use Power BI to design, develop, and automate dashboards and visualizations that provide clear insights into software usage, cost optimization, and lifecycle status.
- Perform advanced Excel analysis and SQL-based querying to extract, cleanse, and transform data from multiple systems
- Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for consolidation or decommissioning based on usage and value metrics.
- Partner with the Software Lifecycle Management initiative to establish a scalable, business-aligned framework for managing software from intake through to renewal and decommissioning.
- Support vendor and contract consolidation efforts by providing data-backed insights on usage, overlap, and cost optimization.
- Enable visibility into the enterprise software ecosystem, supporting architectural reviews and reuse assessments.
- Contribute to the development of metrics, KPIs, and reporting standards for tracking software rationalization progress and business impact.
- Collaborate closely with Enterprise Architecture, GTS leadership, technical application owners, and the Global Supplier Alliance (GSA) to align software decisions with business and technology strategies.
- Partner with Finance and Procurement teams to reconcile spend and usage data, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
