  • Data Analyst

  • As a Data Analyst at OCBC, you'll be transforming operational data into actionable insights. The role involves analysing patterns, customer interactions, agent performance, and operational workflow to improve service levels, efficiency and customer experience.

How you succeed

  • To excel in this role, you'll need to be proactive and collaborative, analyze data, identify trends, and work with stakeholders to implement improvements to enhance our service delivery. Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills are essential to succeed in this role.

What you do

Reporting & Dashboard development

  • Build, maintain, and automate daily, weekly and monthly service performance and operational dashboards to SG and region business service centres

  • Track KPIs such as call volume, average handling time, service level, abandonment rate, agent productivity, and customer experience metrics.

  • Deliver accurate, consistent, and timely reports to support operational and service needs

  • Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting, reduce redundant tasks, and streamline data processes.

  • Perform regular data housekeeping activities

Data Analysis & Insights

  • Analyse trends in call drivers, customer behaviour, peak volume periods, and channel performance.

  • Identify issues and conduct deep dive analysis on key issues impacting service levels

  • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve workflow, reduce backlog, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Who you are

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related fields, with strong proficiency in SQL, programming (Python knowledge), Excel and data visualization (Power BI).   Banking or operations reporting experience will be an advantage

  • Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Self-driven team player, who is able to identify and ensure insights translate into tangible improvements
