Please note: This is a 9-month contract role, no relocation assistant is offered
 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Build global and regional reporting solutions within Power BI using DataBricks to connect data sets to deliver the requirements.
  • Identify problems and shortfalls, propose solutions in relation to the Reporting structure.
  • Reports will support key developments that are built for scale to enable future implementations faster and more reliable:
    1. Operational Reports: Enable end users to more efficiently identify focus areas for in-cycle planning.
    2. Functional & Performance Management Reports: Track defined Key Performance Indicators to drive forecast improvement, root causes and corrective actions.
    3. Executive Reporting: Provide latest and greatest update on State of Affairs as well as enabling decision-making.
    4. Governance Reports: Track the adoption of processes and digital tools (where applicable) towards universal global standard way of working.
     
  • Prepare presentations that convey project status and proposals to drive better outcome.
  • Ongoing support of management information requests and special projects as assigned.

The team you support is responsible for forecasting the long-term horizon for both sell in and consumer sales in all regions across the globe. These Forecasts are a key part of understanding our business potential and identifying the areas that need focus versus our commercial ambitions.

This role will build a scalable centralised reporting and management system as well as a systematic tracker on the adoption and alignment.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or other quantitative field with 3- 5 years of experience.
  • Strong numerical reasoning skills with experience working in large data sets, and data-driven argumentation.
  • Solid skills in building interactive dashboards and reports, proficient in DAX for advanced calculations and measures.
  • Experience with Power Query (M language) for data transformation, including ETL processes, data pipelines and data architecture. Familiarity with connecting Power BI to multiple sources (Dataflows, Azure Databricks etc.)
  • Knowledge of row-level security, workspace and Power BI app management.
  • Experience in data modelling and design, knowledge in schemas for e.g. Star & snowflake
  • Advanced excel for data validation, including the use of pivot tables and advanced formulas like VLOOKUP.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with problem-solving mentality, strong execution skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Excellent social skills, to collaborate seamlessly across functions; and to present complex technical.
  • concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical collaborators.
  • Comfortable participating in change initiatives related to digital transformation projects including system implementations or upgrades.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Able to work independently with good sense of responsibility and minimal supervision.
  • Flexible and adaptable to project changes.
