Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CyberArk Engineer to join our team, focusing on maintaining and optimizing our CyberArk Privileged Access Management (PAM) infrastructure. This role includes both preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure the security, availability, and performance of the CyberArk environment while adhering to best practices and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. CyberArk Maintenance and Administration:
    • Perform regular preventive maintenance, upgrades, and patches for the CyberArk platform to ensure optimal performance and security.
    • Monitor the health and performance of the CyberArk environment, addressing any issues proactively.
  2. Corrective Maintenance:
    • Diagnose and resolve system malfunctions, errors, and failures in the CyberArk infrastructure.
    • Implement corrective actions to address vulnerabilities, bugs, or misconfigurations in a timely manner.
    • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive measures to avoid future occurrences.
  3. Privileged Account Management:
    • Manage and maintain privileged accounts, ensuring secure access and compliance with organizational policies.
    • Implement and enforce password policies, rotation schedules, and access controls within CyberArk.
  4. Incident Management and Troubleshooting:
    • Respond to and resolve incidents related to CyberArk operations, including access issues and system errors.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex issues and ensure system stability.
  5. Integration and Automation:
    • Collaborate with IT and security teams to integrate CyberArk with other systems and applications.
    • Develop and maintain scripts for automation of routine tasks and processes within CyberArk. Compliance and Reporting:
    • Ensure compliance with internal and external security standards and regulations.
    • Generate and analyze reports on privileged access activities, identifying and addressing anomalies.
  6. Documentation and Training:
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation of the CyberArk environment, including configurations, processes, and procedures.
    • Provide training and support to internal teams on CyberArk usage and best practices.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Technical Expertise:
    • Proven experience with CyberArk Privileged Access Management solutions, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and corrective actions.
    • Strong knowledge of security principles, identity and access management, and privileged account management.
  • Problem-Solving:
    • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Scripting and Automation:
    • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or similar for automation purposes.
  • Communication:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and document processes.
  • Certifications (Preferred):
    • CyberArk Defender, CyberArk Sentry, or other relevant certifications.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in managing CyberArk in hybrid cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and frameworks for incident, problem, and change management.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, or similar.
