About the Role
Dandy is a fast-growing global dental technology company headquartered in the U.S., hiring Product and Platform Support Specialists to deliver best-in-class technical support to our dental offices and clinicians using Dandy’s dental scanning hardware and software. You will serve as a front-line product expert for client-facing hardware (specifically 3D intraoral scanning devices) and software, ensuring practices can seamlessly navigate digital dental workflows. You will manage live inquiries and troubleshoot technical issues, often providing critical assistance during urgent, patient-facing moments.

Key Responsibilities
Live Clinical & Tech Support: Provide real-time support to dental practices via phone, chat, and email, coaching users on best practices for capturing images and using intraoral scanners.
Technical Troubleshooting: Resolve hardware and software issues for Windows 10 PCs, peripherals, and device connectivity.
Workflow Optimization: Review dental orders and assist with troubleshooting digital workflows to ensure doctors receive what they need on time.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Account Managers, Lab Operations, and Product teams to identify operational bottlenecks and escalate complex cases.
Documentation & Scaling: Maintain accurate documentation in support systems (e.g., Zendesk, Slack) and utilize SaaS tools to build scalable processes.
Customer Excellence: Surprise and delight customers through superior issue resolution and relationship-building, prioritizing speed and accuracy when patient care is involved.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: 1+ years of experience in a healthcare technical support, IT, or clinical tech environment.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to guide users through step-by-step technical fixes.
Technical Proficiency: Experience with Windows 10, Google Suite, and basic networking infrastructure.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with healthcare or dental practice workflows is required.
Mindset: A desire to work in high-velocity environments, a "roll up your sleeves" attitude, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Bonus Points For
Specialized Dental Tech: Exposure to platforms such as 3Shape, CAD/CAM software, or specific intraoral scanners.
Certifications: CompTIA A+ and/or Microsoft Technology certifications.
Language: Fluency in a second language.
Work Requirements & Schedule
Status: This is a full-time role hourly role eligible for benefits.
Hours: Shifts are aligned to peak operations: Monday - Friday (between 8am - 9pm ET) and Saturday (9am - 4pm ET).
Setup: Remote/work-from-home setup with reliable internet, power backup, and a computer meeting minimum technical specifications.
