As a credit intern, you will be part of a team which is working to support our rapid growth at Funding Societies. Our credit team is responsible for making lending decisions. In addition to having a knack for problem-solving, it is absolutely crucial that you are willing to learn, understand and listen to the needs of our customers.

What you will do:

  • To assist in monitoring credit limits and exposure.
  • To process trade drawdowns
  • Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date credit files and documentation.
  • To ensure compliance with credit policies and procedures.
  • Assist in preparing credit reports and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory developments affecting credit risk.
  • To maintain accurate and up-to-date credit files.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the credit team.
Requirements

What we are looking for:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel and preferably G-Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop skills in credit analysis and risk management.
  • Prior internship or work experience in finance or banking (preferred but not required).
  • Knowledge of financial markets, accounting principles, and credit risk concepts (preferred but not required).
