ABOUT THE ROLE

Kaliber Asia is seeking a Creative Strategist to bridge the gap between creative and performance marketing. This role is ideal for someone who has a creative background but recognizes that data is a key ingredient to delivering successful content and creatives for Kaliber's clients.

As a creative strategist, you will be working closely with growth marketers and the creative team to audit/dissect best and worst-performing creatives, uncover insights, deliver high-impact creative concepts, and be a trusted advisor to Kaliber's clients on all things creative. You'll work closely with clients, performance marketers, and creative teams to craft strategies that drive conversions while elevating brand equity. You’ll develop insight-driven creative frameworks, guide campaign execution, and continuously optimize based on data.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Creative Consulting (40%)

  • Consultation of key clients on the improvement and implementation of their creative assets.
  • Audit the client's brand, key messages, and creatives.
  • Deep dive into creative performance of client's campaigns.
  • Deploy creative and storytelling frameworks that are proven to deliver against the key objective
  • Devise new creative concepts by leveraging past and present campaign performance data.
  • Champion performance branding from a creative standpoint.

Creative Delivery (30%)

  • Produce creative briefs for the design and content team to execute upon.
  • Review creative output, ensuring that outputs align with objectives as outlined in the brief.
  • Work with growth managers on the reporting of creative performance to the client, providing insights and recommendations to optimise creatives to drive results.

Development of Creative Best Practices (15%)

  • Documentation and consolidation of all ad performance and insights to determine Creative Best Practices that provides guidance to future creative development.
  • Deploy a test and learn plan across Kaliber's portfolio of clients to further enhance knowledge building of creative best practices.

Innovation (15%)

  • Deploy Generative AI into creative strategy workflows to transform productivity while keeping a high standard of creative ideation.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in branding, creative, and storytelling

WHAT YOU WILL BRING 

The minimum qualifications for this role include:

  • 5+ years of experience in a creative field such as design or copywriting with at least 2+ years of proven experience in developing and executing creative strategy.
  • Passionate about the intersection of creative storytelling and performance marketing.
  • Strong client communication skills—able to present creative strategies, explain data insights, and guide stakeholders.
  • Strong ability to translate creative insights into strategic initiatives that drive brand and business goals. 
  • Strong understanding of branding metrics

Preferred qualifications for this role include:

  • Experience crafting brand positioning and messaging frameworks for digital-first brands.
  • Sound understanding in media planning, buying and reporting of Google Ads and Facebook Ads is an advantage.
  • Experience with Project Management software (bonus points if you’re a ClickUp pro!)
  • Exceptional written, spoken, and presentation skills that bring clarity and excitement to your ideas.
  • Ready to bring your A-game and collaborate with stakeholders from across the board.
