Key Responsibilities

Client Strategy & Planning

  • Manage and develop strong relationships within the customer portfolio in Indonesia.

  • Collaborate closely with the local and area product teams to drive revenue growth across the region, particularly within your assigned country.

  • Develop comprehensive account business plans for strategic customers, covering both ocean transportation and logistics and services solutions - Convert these into clear, executable, and measurable country-level plans.

Business Management

  • Maintain oversight of customer activities, identifying and securing opportunities that support ocean and logistics growth.

  • Sell relevant ocean and logistics products based on customer needs.

  • Ensure the team is structured for sustainable growth, with the right capacity and strong revenue performance.

  • Support regional priorities by engaging small and medium-sized enterprises and key cargo owners to strengthen the domestic network and expand business reach.

  • Oversee the country’s Ocean Rolling Forecast, ensuring full visibility across commercial channels and alignment with team performance.

Define & Deliver Changes to Business Targets based on Market/Assess View

  • Partner with the commercial planning function to formalize commercial plans and maximize asset utilization.

  • Ensure the organisation operates sustainably from a financial and resource standpoint.

  • Drive and support the commercial planning function to establish a clear and efficient tender process, enabling stronger network sales and market competitiveness.

  • Take ownership of the country’s Ocean Rolling Forecast and performance targets, ensuring full transparency and ability to take corrective actions where needed.

  • Collaborate with product teams to support business development needs of the domestic and regional network.

Customer Satisfaction

  • Actively monitor local customer satisfaction scores across all client segments and drive improvement initiatives for all accounts.

  • Take ownership of customer satisfaction outcomes within your geography, working closely with the Customer Experience team to drive continuous quarterly improvement.

Manage Stakeholders across the Area, Region & Global Functions

  • Provide structured feedback to sales leadership based on customer insights and market observations.

  • Maintain strong collaboration with Product teams, Sales Operations, Customer Experience, Finance, and other coordination functions (including operational teams) within the country and through the commercial planning function as needed.

We are looking for

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in transportation & logistics, Sales or commercial function with at least 5 years of leadership & management positions​

  • Proven experience in leading regional teams and managing complex, solution-based selling environments.

  • Strong understanding of logistics markets, covering ocean, airfreight and value-added services.

  • Demonstrated success in building strategic partnerships and influencing C-level stakeholders.

  • Ability to work in a matrix environment with global alignment and local execution.

  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia to effectively engage with our customer base.
