Corporate Lending Administrator
Role Description:
The Global Service Centre for Corporate Banking Services (CBS) with offices in Dublin and Utrecht, located within the COO Domain, is a department responsible for the provision of Back Office loan and agency administration services to Front Office business lines across multiple regions. It operates within a highly regulated, high value, high risk international business environment with an extremely low error tolerance, and high reputational and systemic responsibilities. The market in which it operates is international and dynamic with suppliers, staff and counterparties operating in different global time zones and cultures.
The role of the Corporate Loan Administrator is to book, manage and maintain lending products within a client portfolio in line with documented processes and to agreed quality and service standards.
The candidate will be servicing customers in the North America region and the working hours will be 2pm – 10pm.
This role will be a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract of Employment
All candidates must have the Right to Work in Ireland by either having a valid EU work permit or holder of Stamp 4 or Stamp 1G Visa
Main Tasks of Role:
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate extensive experience in:
Core Tasks;
Manages a portfolio of clients ensuring that all associated tasks are completed within process deadlines
Consistently executes all processes and controls in accordance with procedures, work instructions and policies
Interprets and actions Agent, Client or internal instructions to book new loan contracts and manage the disbursement of funds
Manages the reconciliation of cash movements and funding requests and works to resolve any breaks in a timely manner i.e. ensure zero tolerance for aged/high value breaks
Builds relationships and liaises with stakeholders across the organisation to drive a quality service
Understands and complies with the Global Customer Service Standards
Escalates effectively to deal with bottlenecks, knowledge or barriers
Develops an understanding of Rabobank’s products and services and their contribution to the Bank’s strategy
Liaises internally (within own team) to ensure quality and productivity levels can be achieved
Provides practical / technical expertise to projects or initiatives
Carries out a variety of administrative work duties as directed
Proactively manages loan lifecycle events e.g. rollovers, interest settlements, treasury funding i.e. process Loan lifecycle events of Syndicated and Bilateral loans including:
Drawdowns and rollovers
Rate fixings (e.g. SOFR/PRIME)
Principal and interest repayments
Prepayments and Amendments
Break Funding
Risk and Control:
Has good risk awareness and understands any process risks and the importance of highlighting control gaps
Complies with risk standards and adheres to related processes and policies
Provides suggestions to enhance the risk environment and helps others learn from process errors
Completes all mandatory risk training courses before the due date
Knows what is expected and works to achieve same (or highlights where impediments exist)
Offers co-operation and assistance to colleagues when this is required
Is eager to learn and willingly participates in training and development activities
Takes ownership for own learning and drives career ambitions
Puts skills, capacity and experience at the disposal of colleagues to achieve team objectives

Technical:
Knowledge of corporate loan products & processes
Practical experience using the Flexcube Core Banking and SWIFT systems
Business degree or equivalent
Preferable: 2 years’ experience in Financial Services
Fluency in English
Competent in MS Excel and other MS applications
