Core Platform Services - Senior C++ Developer, Tech Lead

Your future role within QRT

• Key member of the Central Core IT team building and enhancing key high throughput Linux based services for QRT
• The team currently manages 14+ services and is constantly expanding (retiring legacy application and implementing new features), also manages internal messaging bus
• Potential to touch many aspects of electronic trading systems, including order-router, order/trade/position management server, pre-trade-limit, locate server, Risk and PnL server, availability server and exchange simulators
• Work closely with a range of investment management professionals including quantitative analysts/developers, traders and operations staff, in order to design and develop cutting-edge systems to keep QRT at the forefront of its field

Your Present Skillset 

• Expert on low latency high throughput Linux development using advance C/C++, STL, Boost
• Key experience designing and implementing multithreaded and distributed systems
• 5+ years of experience of front and middle office desk-aligned role is desirable
• Advanced knowledge of distributed network architecture
• Good knowledge of Equities, Futures and options asset classes highly desirable
• Proficient with Linux / GCC development toolchain and Linux Red Hat essential
• Knowledge of order/trade/position management, order routing server highly desirable
• Experience working within a mature continuous development process highly desirable
• Team player essential
