The Leader, Danaher Business System (DBS) & Lean is responsible for accelerating organizational performance by driving the DBS roadmap, improving SQDC outcomes, and embedding AI‑enabled Lean problem solving across the site. Through expert coaching and capability building, this role delivers sustainable quality, on-time-delivery and productivity gains and enhances customer experience while shaping how the organization operates long‑term.

This position reports to the DBS Global Director, Lean, Danaher Business System Group and is part of the Leica Instruments Singapore Pte Ltd located in Singapore and will be an on-site role.  

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Shape and deploy the DBS and digital transformation strategy aligned with SP/PD priorities.
  • Drive SQDC performance through Lean, daily management, and breakthrough problem solving.
  • Develop and implement AI‑driven diagnostics, dashboards, and data‑powered decision tools.
  • Lead Kaizen events and coaching to strengthen organizational capability at all levels.
  • Collaborate across functions to ensure sustainable, measurable improvement in productivity and customer experience.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Operations or Engineering, with multiple years of Continuous Improvement experience
  • Proven ability to lead Lean transformations that deliver measurable business results.
  • Hands‑on experience applying Lean and structured problem‑solving methods to solve complex operational challenges.
  • Ability to integrate AI, analytics, and digital technologies into continuous improvement workflows to enhance speed and decision‑making.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and end-to-end value streams.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

Occasional travel, 5% to 10% of the time

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Driving site or global continuous improvement programs within a multinational or highly regulated environment.
  • Implementing AI‑ or analytics‑driven solutions (e.g., predictive maintenance, automated reporting, machine learning models) to improve operational performance or decision‑making.
  • Leading digital or Industry 4.0 initiatives such as automation, predictive analytics, digital twins, or smart manufacturing solutions.
