As an Executive Director in the Index Derivatives Trading team, you will service different types of clients and make markets in your group's particular range of products. You will be managing risk, liquidity and exposure and you may support all aspects of the trading desk: pre-trade analysis and pricing, optimal hedging strategies, and inbound and outbound trade processing. You will constantly evaluate market developments in order to give clients accurate product information and market color.
Job responsibilities

  • Work with the senior stakeholders to effectively price and manage index linked products
  • Work closely with global sales and structuring to market existing products and also innovate new index linked products
  • Effectively manage risk across diverse index linked products.
  • Grow business revenue and franchise
  • Work closely with IT/QA and control functions to build sustainable pricing, risk and control framework and tools
  • Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, firm wide risk framework, and internal policies


Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Master's Degree or higher in related discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in trading global index derivatives products (not only Asia Pacific indices)
  • Experience in managing and leading a team of talented traders.
  • A team player who works well with others; on top of thinking and acting quickly and appropriately.
  • High degree of numeracy
  • Strong awareness of market structure changes and the impact of regulation
  • Strong communication skills, especially around complicated concepts
  • Works thoughtfully and logically
  • Able to work in a pressured environment; tenacious & self-motivated
