As an Equity Derivatives & QIS Sales Associate in our front office team, you will help maintain and build client relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. You will work collaboratively with trading and research teams to execute trades and provide market insights. This role is crucial in driving our business forward and ensuring client satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day client requests and needs.
- Independently and effectively complete transactions from start to finish.
- Understand market drivers and establish competence with clients around executing trades.
- Follow firm's risk management policies and applicable legal and regulatory rules.
- Work on key products: flow & exotic equity derivatives, QIS Investments across all asset classes.
- Build trust with clients by understanding their needs and being responsive.
- Balance competing needs across clients, internal partners, and the firm.
- Assist with post-trade processes and ensure accuracy and internal controls.
- Conduct economic market research.
- Prepare presentation materials and participate in deal pitches.
- Perform financial valuation and analysis for product modeling.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or relevant field.
- 3 years' working experience in financial industries.
- Entrepreneurial drive with strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency with market and product lingo; well-versed in quantitative investment strategies.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a drive for innovation.
- Understanding of different types of risk and risk management strategies.
- Ability to explain and anticipate market movements.
- Thrive under competitive pressures and focus on client needs.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to interact comfortably with business clients and management.
- Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently.
