JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic and commercially minded Cluster Finance Manager to lead the finance and accounting functions across Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Based in Singapore and reporting directly to the Group CFO, this role will serve as a key strategic finance partner to the Cluster Managing Director and the cluster leadership team.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving financial performance, strengthening governance and controls, supporting business growth, and leading finance transformation initiatives as the Group continues its expansion journey.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Business Partnering

  • Partner closely with the Cluster Managing Director and country management teams to provide financial insights, strategic guidance, and commercial support.
  • Support business decision-making through financial analysis, forecasting, scenario planning, and performance monitoring.
  • Drive profitability, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth across the cluster.
  • Provide proactive recommendations to improve financial and operational performance.

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Oversee all finance and accounting activities for Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in compliance with local statutory requirements and Group policies.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and working capital optimization.
  • Ensure strong internal controls, compliance, and risk management practices are maintained across the cluster.
  • Coordinate audits, tax matters, and regulatory filings with external advisors and local authorities.

Working Capital Management

  • Oversee AR and AP functions across the cluster ensuring timely collections, accurate payments, and strong adherence to internal controls and policies
  • Monitor and improve key working capital metrics including DSO, DPO and cash conversion cycle.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing cluster finance team.
  • Build a best-in-class finance function that supports business growth and operational excellence.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and business partnership.

Transformation & Continuous Improvement

  • Support and drive finance transformation initiatives, process optimization, and system enhancements across the Group.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and efficiency improvements.
  • Participate in strategic projects, integrations, and regional initiatives as the organization continues its growth journey.

QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline. Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or CA preferred.
  • Minimum 8–12 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, with regional exposure across Southeast Asia preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, tax, compliance, and internal controls.
  • Experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, or multinational environments will be advantageous.
  • Proven ability to act as a strategic business partner to senior management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-growing and evolving environment.
  • Experience in finance transformation, ERP implementation, or process improvement initiatives is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within the region.
  • Independent, self-starter and “can-do” attitude.
