As a Client Solutions Manager Associate within the Securities Services team, you will be responsible for the project management of new and incremental client business within the Securities Services organization of JPMorgan's Corporate Investment Bank. Your role will involve working with a diverse client base, including Asset Managers, Hedge Funds, Private Equity Funds, Pension Funds, Banks, Broker Dealers, and Insurance Companies.
Solutions and Implementation activity encompasses all Securities Services products including but not limited to Custody, Fund Accounting, Fund Admin, Hedge Funds Servicing, Investment Analytics, Compliance, ETFs, IMOS, Private Equity and Real Estate Services, Securities Lending, Collateral Management, Prime Custody and Trading Services. The scale of activity will range from single product implementations to large, complex deals involving multiple products and multiple entities and includes a range of constituents.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive client requirements gathering process and propose and influence target solutions for the client
  • Ensure client requirements are understood and work with internal partners to design, document, and ensure appropriate sign off on solutions.
  • Own and drive project activities including, but not limited to: Develop and manage project delivery plans; Facilitate negotiating of client legal agreements; Execute plans with robust governance and reporting; Actively mitigate and manage project risk by coordinating timely resolution of issues; Scope containment and change management; Manage and motivate virtual working teams across multiple locations and disciplines; Execute post implementation and production satisfaction reviews to continually improve practices
  • Prioritize, track, and report on all projects in the pipeline effectively
  • Enforce compliance with all controls and procedures and manage all project communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to strategy for delivering excellent client implementation service
  • Identify potential tactical and strategic improvements to implementation processes
  • Drive internal team and department wide initiatives as agreed upon
  • Work with Sales and RFP teams in pre-win phase to ensure on-boarding is effectively represented
  • Champion the Implementation team in the Sales cycle; participate in pitches and lead Implementation dialogue with internal partners and clients across all product disciplines
  • Represent the Implementation team at a range of senior forums


Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in the Financial Services sector, particularly in the Securities Servicing Industry with a client-facing implementation role or equivalent experience
  • Familiarity with a range of Securities Services products, including Custody, Fund Accounting, Fund Administration, Hedge Fund Services, Investment Analytics, Compliance, ETFs, IMOS, Private Equity and Real Estate Services, Securities Lending, Collateral Management, Prime Custody, and Trading Services
  • Project and program management skills
  • Clear, articulate and concise verbal and written communication
  • Client-facing skills
  • Proven ability to influence and work collaboratively with multiple internal disciplines (sales, operations, technology, product management)
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Keen eye for identifying and resolving risks
  • Ability to systematically remove ambiguity from projects
  • Proficient in both Japanese and English


Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Work well in an evolving environment
  • Highly structured and methodical in execution
  • Proficiency in Mandarin and Cantonese is advantageous
