The Opportunity
We’re seeking an experienced and dynamic Client Lead to take ownership of client relationships, drive account growth, and oversee the delivery of advanced digital media solutions. This role is integral to ensuring the success of our clients by designing and executing tailored strategies that deliver measurable results.
As a strategic thinker with a proven track record in digital media, you will bring strong project management skills and expertise spanning media planning, strategy, implementation, optimisation, and reporting. Experience with B2B platforms and enterprise brands is highly desirable.
In this role, you’ll serve as the primary point of contact for clients, focusing on digital media strategy and execution while fostering trusted partnerships that drive long-term growth. Working closely with internal teams - media, data, and content - you will deliver impactful, data-driven campaigns that align with client objectives. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and expanding our media management practice, ensuring we remain at the forefront of innovation and consistently deliver value for our clients.
Within Monks reselling and advisory services, you will guide clients on maximising the value of platform investments, providing expert advice on strategy and implementation while aligning solutions with their business needs. Your efforts will bridge operational execution and strategic consulting, ensuring clients achieve their business goals effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Client Partnership & Growth
- Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with enterprise clients, acting as their trusted advisor for digital media.
- Understand client business goals, design tailored digital media strategies, and establish KPIs and roadmaps to achieve measurable success.
- Identify growth opportunities within accounts to expand engagement, revenue, and long-term partnerships.
- Lead client communications, including project updates, strategic planning sessions, and quarterly business reviews.
Digital Media Strategy & Execution
- Lead digital media efforts across platforms such as Meta, LinkedIn, Google Ads, The Trade Desk, Google Marketing Platform (priority) and B2B-focused ecosystems.
- Support the development and expansion of our media management practice, refining processes, tools, and team capabilities.
- Stay informed on emerging trends, technologies, and privacy regulations to ensure strategies remain innovative, compliant, and effective.
- Leverage platform partner ecosystems to maximise campaign impact and unlock additional opportunities for clients.
- Deliver consistent optimisation and performance reporting, highlighting campaign insights and actionable recommendations. Accountable for all reporting.
Team Collaboration & Leadership
- Oversee a team of digital media specialists across your clients, ensuring the successful planning, execution, and reporting of campaigns.
- Collaborate with the data team to incorporate advanced analytics, measurement solutions, and privacy-compliant strategies into campaigns.
- Partner with the content team to align creative assets with digital media strategies for cohesive and engaging campaigns.
- Develop detailed project plans, assigning roles, deliverables, and timelines to ensure smooth execution across internal and external teams.
Internal Development
- Mentor and support team members, fostering expertise in digital media platforms, analytics, and client management.
- Contribute to the growth of our media management practice by optimising processes, expanding capabilities, and sharing best practices.
- Drive organisational improvements by streamlining operations, building knowledge, and enhancing team collaboration.
What You Bring
- 6+ years of experience in digital marketing and leading client relationships, with a strong focus on digital media planning, strategy, and execution.
- Deep expertise in digital media platforms, including the Google Marketing Platform (priority) Meta, Google Ads, The Trade Desk, and other relevant ecosystems.
- A proactive mindset, with the ability to anticipate challenges, identify opportunities, and act without being prompted.
- Demonstrated project management experience, either as a dedicated function or as a core component of broader responsibilities, with the ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Proven ability to lead projects, build and maintain robust plans, and coordinate multiple stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
- Ownership mentality, taking full accountability for delivering results, building client trust, and driving team success.
- Strong intuition for client needs and industry trends, with the ability to adapt and pivot strategies to achieve the best outcomes.
- Proven ability to manage enterprise client relationships, ensuring successful delivery and measurable business outcomes.
- Advanced knowledge of analytics tools, digital measurement solutions, and privacy trends shaping the media landscape. Advanced working knowledge of Google Analytics is preferred, though not a core requirement of the role.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to extract insights from complex data and translate them into strategic actions.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging and influencing stakeholders across all levels, from SMEs to C-suite.
