We are looking for a Client Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate is a dynamic communicator who is curious, proactive, and eager to learn, with strong writing skills and creative thinking. Most importantly, you are excited by the opportunity to grow within an integrated communications environment, collaborating across teams to deliver impactful work that blends PR, digital, social, and creative.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate a solid understanding of the communication industry and its basic operating principles
Understand key client information, including business strategy, industry issues, products and services, key customers, and competitors
Provide client service administration, including preparing client status and activity reports, attending meetings, compiling media and competitor coverage
Build a network of media and industry influencer contacts on behalf of clients
Identify and develop earned media stories to support integrated brand campaigns
Research, outline, write, edit, and proofread materials, including media lists, media strategy proposals, press materials, scripts, pitches, fact sheets, and more
Assist with research, including analysis of media coverage, online conversations and social media sentiment
Participate in new business processes, including research and proposal preparation
Provide oversight and support to interns on the team
Commit to continuous learning through internal and external training opportunities
Basic Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant experience in public relations and/or related fields including research, advertising, management consulting, media, and publishing
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, compelling messages tailored to different audiences and channels
Fundamental understanding of earned media, communications, marketing, and branding
Strong work ethic and dedication to consistently provide quality work
Good interpersonal skills, self-starting attitude, and the ability to work individually and in teams
Excellent organization skills, and the ability to adapt to change and meet deadlines
Eagerness to learn and be part of and contribute to a strong, high-performing team
