• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for civil engineering projects.
• Monitor project progress and ensure milestones are achieved within deadlines.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Lead and manage a team of engineers, supervisors, and site staff.
• Assign tasks, provide guidance, and ensure team members meet performance standards.
• Conduct regular team meetings to review progress and address challenges.
• Ensure all construction activities meet quality standards and specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to maintain compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Address and resolve any issues related to construction defects or delays.
• Manage project budgets and control costs to avoid overruns.
• Optimize resource allocation, including manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Prepare and review cost estimates, invoices, and financial reports.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and consultants.
• Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Address client concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
• Handle unforeseen challenges and implement corrective actions promptly.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and materials.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, BIM, and other design software.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset to identify and resolve project challenges.
• Ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
• Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
