Job Description
You will join the Financial Reporting, Analysis & Control team, a part of the broader Global Equities Product Control team within the Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB) Finance and Business Management (F&BM) organization.
Global Equities is a market leader which spans a wide product set, with multiple businesses including EDG (equity derivatives), Cash (equity securities), Prime Brokerage and Clearing.

You will join the Financial Reporting, Analysis & Control team, a part of the broader Global Equities Product Control team within the Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB) Finance and Business Management (F&BM) organization.
Global Equities is a market leader which spans a wide product set, with multiple businesses including EDG (equity derivatives), Cash (equity securities), Prime Brokerage and Clearing.
As the team's Capital & Notionals lead, you will have overall responsibility for the whole capital/RWA and notionals agenda. This will include
- being responsible for the team's production of timely and accurate capital/RWA & notional submissions, including maintaining a robust control environment
- providing insight to management and stakeholders on the business's capital and RWA footprint
- leading the change agenda within the capital and notionals space, including adapting to changing requirements and driving process re-engineering
- developing and executing on a strategy to build out capital/RWA and notional analysis capabilities
- managing the team's relationships with a range of stakeholders, including CIB Treasury, Basel Measurement & Analytics, the front office and Asset Class and Product Controllers
- directly managing a team of three in London
- matrix-managing several individuals in Warsaw
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee and be accountable for the quality of all capital/RWA reporting for Global Equities
- Manage a team of three, as well as matrix-managing several individuals in Warsaw
- Interact and manage relationships with front office, CIB Treasury, Basel Measurement & Analytics, and Asset Class and Product Controllers
- Work with the business to ensure that they fully understand developments in the capital/RWA framework
- Provide capital/RWA guidance for products, liaise with CIB Treasury/ Basel Measurement & Analytics and ensure we are proactive and adherent to capital/RWA requirements, external regulatory requirements and accounting standards
- Identify and manage process improvement and re-engineering opportunities (using data analytics tools such as Alteryx and Tableau), and ensure all processes have adequate controls in place that are robust, documented, and transparent
- Enhance capital/RWA reporting to provide greater transparency to senior management and the business
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Ability to lead a team, including matrix management of individuals in another location
- Capability to summarize complex information and deliver it at a business executive level
- Strong presentation skills
- Excellent relationship-building skills, and comfortable with key business contacts and stakeholders
- Positive can-do attitude, looking to add value across the breadth of the business
- Ability to multi-task, prioritizing deadlines and competing requirements
- Control/efficiency mindset, with strong analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Strong understanding of RWA, accounting, product and risk concepts
- Alteryx/Tableau experience
- Equities experience
