The Chief Revenue Officer, Hong Kong (CRO) is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic partnerships, within a specific region or market. This role requires a blend of leadership, strategic planning, market analysis, and business development skills, tailored to the unique needs and opportunities of Hong Kong while aligning with the broader organizational goals. The position reports directly to the Regional President, with functional reporting to International Sales and Market Enablement.

What You'll Bring:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Experience: 10-15 years of successful sales and sales management experience, with a focus on regional markets and C-level sales of complicated B2B solutions.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, strategic planning, negotiation, and communication skills. Proficiency in regional market analysis, financial management, and customer relationship management.
  • Professional Qualities: Innovative, results-driven, collaborative, and skilled in building and leveraging relationships across the organization.

Impact You'll Make:

Sales Strategy:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies that set expectations for short and long-term growth objectives for various client segments in line with the company's RUN/GROW agenda.
  • Structure the organization for growth in areas of innovation that will lead to outsized growth opportunities.
  • Set clear and challenging goals, supporting the organization to achieve its financial commitments and internal forecasting processes.
  • Implement key sales performance indicators to effectively manage the sales team; accountable for driving pipeline development and achieving targets.
     

Sales Operations/Enablement:

  • Lead and oversee the sales operations teams to ensure efficient and effective execution of sales strategies and support to enable the sales function.
  • Oversee pipeline hygiene programs and management support to ensure accuracy of data capture, tracking of sales opportunities, and conversion rates into close business.
  • Manage forecasting processes to ensure accurate revenue projections and resource planning.
  • Coordinate territory planning to optimize coverage and align with market potential.
  • Utilize performance analytics to monitor sales effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Drive continuous process optimization to enhance sales productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Support the training and development for the Sales Associates and Sales Leaders from onboarding through to advanced sales skills leveraging COE programs and curriculum.
     

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Provide leadership and direction to the commercial team in the markets.
  • Develop and mentor team members to maximize their potential.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the markets.
  • Lead and coach a team of sales associates to ensure strong revenue growth plans are achieved.
  • Review and make recommendations on compensation for the sales team to align with company goals.
     

Client Engagement:

  • Develop and support through the sales leadership teams, Key Account Strategies which will be utilized to shift share and spend to grow market share with key accounts
  • Lead and manage a collaborative client planning process with key clients to guarantee acknowledgment of key business issues and recommended solutions.
  • Focus on organization alignment to client priorities, action steps, project timelines, and proposal delivery.
  • Develop and foster a deep customer-focused mindset that drives consistent value delivery on current and new client projects.
     

Sales Program Management:

  • Manage and monitor the status of individual client opportunities, sales pipelines, and sales plans to ensure clear plans for success.
  • Oversee the delivery of value and brand strategy within all client sales deliverables.
  • Prioritize existing and potential client bases that provide the greatest opportunity to sell more solutions.
  • Review achievements against objectives and analyze programs for effectiveness, modifying where necessary to drive results.
     

Financial Management:

  • Manage regional budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Analyze regional financial data to make informed business decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with regional financial regulations and policies.
     

Country and Regional Enablement:

  • Utilize insights and playbooks provided by Sales Enablement, Marketing, Market Planning & Development, and Research & Consulting to inform sales strategies and client engagement. Collaborate closely with these teams to ensure alignment with Hong Kong or regional markets sales goals without direct oversight to penetrate growth verticals.
  • Proactively provide expertise on new initiatives applied to client opportunities and provide new product feedback to appropriate business groups.
  • Build a network of industry resources and represent the organization at industry conferences, trade shows, and advisory boards to explore new business and support existing vertical strategies.
     

Community and Public Relations:

  • Maintain positive organizational image and support executive decisions.
  • Build relationships with key accounts, industry and trade associations, government bodies, and community leaders.
     

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Ensure optimization of account assignments and leverage associate expertise to client/industry requirements.
  • Mentor and coach team members to innovate on current and stalled opportunities.
  • Drive a high-performance and engagement culture.
  • Develop succession and career-path plans for team members.
This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
