We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Channel Engineer to play a pivotal role in developing, enabling, and supporting our channel partners. This role goes beyond technical pre-sales support-it is also responsible for strategic program development and execution to strengthen partner relationships, drive revenue growth, and enhance technical alignment.

This Solution Engineering team consists of a group of driven colleagues where there is a lot of synergy between them. Due to the smaller size of the local team, you can really make an impact and ride on future growth. This role is a combination of builder / executor.
As an ASEAN focused role, there is an expectation of travel.
About the role
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cybersecurity technologies, experience working with value-added resellers (VARs) / SI's, or managed security service providers (MSSPs), and/or technology alliances, and a proven track record of executing scalable partner enablement initiatives.
In this job you will provide;
Strategic Program Development & Execution:
- Input into, and execute structured partner enablement programs that enhance technical capabilities, drive adoption, and accelerate sales cycles.
- Develop scalable training frameworks, certification programs, and hands-on workshops to upskill partners.
- Create and implement joint go-to-market (GTM) strategies, including technical playbooks, sales enablement tools, and solution bundles.
- Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams to align channel initiatives with overall business objectives.
- Input into and measurement of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of partner programs and continuously optimize for better engagement.
- Partner with field SE team to drive deliverables across Focus partners
Technical Enablement & Support
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to channel partners.
- Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept (PoC) engagements.
- Train and certify partners on the company's cybersecurity solutions.
- Assist in designing and architecting solutions that align with partner and customer needs.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges encountered by partners and customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the channel ecosystem.
Partner Engagement & Development
- Work closely with partners to identify opportunities and develop joint security offerings.
- Conduct in person and remote technical workshops and webinars to enhance partner capabilities.
- Act as a liaison between partners and internal product, engineering, and sales teams.
- Provide technical demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and competitive analysis.
- Support partners in responding to RFPs, RFIs, and other technical inquiries.
- Provide feedback to product teams based on partner and customer interactions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the channel ecosystem.
Sales Support & Solution Design:
- Assist partners in responding to RFPs, RFIs, and security assessments.
- Support sales teams with technical expertise during deal negotiations and closing.
- Work collaboratively with marketing to create technical content for partner enablement.
Threat Landscape & Industry Expertise
- Stay up to date with emerging threats, security trends, and industry best practices and work to keep partner strategies relevant.
- Analyze competitive solutions and position our offerings effectively against market alternatives.
- Maintain knowledge of competitive solutions to position our offerings effectively to Channel
The skills you'll bring include;
- Experience: 5+ years in a cybersecurity engineering, solutions engineering, or channel engineering role with experience in program development and execution.
- Strategic Experience: Proven ability to design, implement and measure partner enablement programs and drive strategic initiatives.
- Technical Skills: Understanding of security technologies such as SIEM, XDR, endpoint security, Risk based Vulnerability Management, cloud security, IAM, firewalls, network security.
- Certifications (Desirable): CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or vendor-specific certifications (e.g. Rapid7, Palo Alto, Netskope, Fortinet, CrowdStrike etc.)
- Soft Skills: Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly competent interpersonal skills as well as, business proficiency in English and Bahasa
Nice to Have;
- Experience working with MSSPs and channel sales models.
- Knowledge of scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with security assessments and solution implementation.
