Job Description

The ideal candidate is strategic, proactive, customer focused individuals with strong analytical skills, having 3-5 years of successful track record in retail centre management and having demonstrated excellent negotiation and communication skills.

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operation and performance of a mall

  • Oversee the operational and marketing functions to ensure that maximum and long-term value is obtained

  • Identify specific and suitable target consumer markets and to effect suitable PR, marketing and branding activities

  • Develop relationships with strategic partners whilst building and maintaining good rapport with retailers and other stakeholders

  • Engage tenants and prospects regularly to review their business performance and identify opportunities for spatial expansion

  • Prepare the annual Asset Plan with a focus on adding value to the mall

  • Collaborate with the various management teams to review and assess the re-positioning of the mall 

  • Plan and execute impending/on-going redevelopment works so as to achieve the desired tenancy mix and market positioning

  • Work with the Asset Management team on financial feasibility reviews

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in shopping centre management and preferably with tertiary qualifications

  • Strong negotiation and business planning skills

  • A demonstrated understanding of retail and the ability to value-add and future-proof the centre 

  • Excellent leadership and communications skills to manage and motivate ground teams
