CAIS is seeking a driven junior sales professional to join its Capital Markets team in New York. This high-impact role sits at the intersection of relationship management and product distribution, supporting RIAs, Independent Broker-Dealers, and Bank & Trust clients across an assigned region. The right candidate brings 2–3 years of financial services experience, a strong foundation in structured products and defined outcome investments, and the commercial instincts to grow a book of business within the independent wealth management channel.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate and develop new client relationships alongside senior team members in an assigned region
  • Build and execute a business plan targeting RIAs and independent wealth management firms
  • Generate leads, originate calls, and drive in-person meetings with prospects and existing clients
  • Distribute CAIS' suite of structured notes, defined outcome ETFs, and alternative investment products
  • Develop tailored solutions aligned to client investment objectives
  • Service existing relationships with a high-touch, responsive approach
  • Coordinate with internal teams — trading, onboarding, and operations — to ensure client needs are met efficiently
  • Develop deep fluency across all CAIS products, platforms, and workflows
  • Leverage AI tools to support client preparation, product research, and outreach drafting — exercising commercial and compliance judgment on all outputs before client-facing use
  • Contribute to special projects based on capacity, skill, and interest

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in financial services, ideally in product distribution or a client-facing sales role
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field
  • Strong background in structured products, equity derivatives, fixed income, or defined outcome strategies
  • Experience wholesaling or distributing structured notes, ETFs, mutual funds, or similar investment products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to distill complex products for advisor audiences
  • High integrity, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • Demonstrated AI fluency: comfortable using AI-assisted tools for research, client prep, and communications, with sound judgment about when outputs require human review before use
  • Salesforce experience preferred; comfortable adopting and working within a technology-enabled sales workflow
  • Series 7 and 63 required

CAIS’ compensation package includes a market competitive salary, a performance bonus, and exceptional benefits. If you are located in New York, New York, the base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $125,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
