Business Resiliency is one of the identified elements of JPMC's Operational Resilience Framework. The Line of Business specific Resiliency function provides a formal structure allowing for cohesive and centralized oversight of the enterprise wide control environment, partnering closely with Firmwide Resiliency Office, Compliance, Risk, Audit and other control disciplines.
As a Business Resiliency Associate within the Asia Pacific Resiliency team, you will be responsible for the delivery of resiliency for the Markets business in the region. Following the issuance of new regulation on operational resiliency, you will play a key role to ensure that the business can withstand and recover from disruptions minimizing the impact to customers, the Firm, and the Market. You will work in close collaboration and partnership across Operations, Product, Technology, and the Commercial and Investment Bank Resiliency Team to adhere to enhanced firm wide resiliency standards in line with regulation. In this role, you will report to the Head of Resiliency for North Asia ex China and globally to the Global Head of Markets Resiliency.

Job Responsibilities:
- Act as a subject matter expert on markets resiliency risks and issues across Asia Pacific
- Implement the resiliency framework and local regulatory requirements with a cohesive alignment with the global direction and support the local jurisdiction
- Manage a cohesive and effective end-to-end partnership across the Front Office, Operations, Technology for the markets business
- Execute the Asia resiliency strategic agenda partnering closely with the resiliency teams in various regions
- Drive continuous improvement in resiliency knowledge and readiness of the region for market businesses.
- Engage with control stakeholders, including 2nd and 3rd lines of defense, specific to Markets business resiliency
- Manage the coordination of the Markets business response across Operations, Client Service, Product
- Work with local management in delivering regional governance framework
Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- At least 5 years of work experience in financial services industry
- Sound understanding of the Markets business and asset classes
- Proven expertise of managing multiple stakeholder groups to resolve significant issues.
- Analytical skills, problem solving, good critical thinking and decision-making skills based upon fact and business/industry knowledge
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver succinct and accurate messaging to senior stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proven stakeholder management skills required to work cross-organizationally to influence others, drive results and implement change
Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities:
- Working knowledge of Markets business in Operations, Technology, Business or Product Management functions
- Good understanding of Markets asset classes such as equities, derivatives, fixed income.
- Worked in a global institution with matrix reporting and global partnerships desired
- Strong working knowledge of compliance, audit, risk and operational management concepts is desirable
