The Office of Information Security (OIS) is responsible for implementing the global security policies and standards globally within NTT DATA, Inc. Their area of responsibility covers both corporate and business areas. The OIS has a dedicated team which supports, controls, and advises Regional Units and I&T in security matters, ensuring the defines, implements and monitors the Information Security Management System.

 

As the Business Information Security Officer (BISO) for the Asia Pacific Region (APAC), the successful candidate will work closely with the global security team and coordinate with all other regional teams worldwide. They will join the NTT DATA, Inc. Corporate CISO team, working autonomously in a collaborative environment made up of experts in a range of security-related fields. They will oversee and strengthen the implementation of the security baseline in corporate environments and business projects, ensuring compliance throughout infrastructures and applications. They will work closely with other leaders throughout the organization to ensure that the company is properly protected through the development of appropriate security programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work within the Corporate CISO team.

  • Support for the integration of the global OIS framework in APAC.

  • Act as a focal point and subject matter expert with regional corporate and business units, providing thought leadership to key stakeholders.

  • Assess regional risks and define and implement mitigation plans.

  • Collaborate in ensuring that business activities comply with all regulatory requirements and corporate policies within the region.

  • Support security incident management.

  • Support internal and external audits as well as homologation processes.

  • Support security training and awareness activities.

  • Support the design of security requirements to implement in our technological portfolio.

  • Ensure that appropriate security measures are in place to protect the information assets of NTT DATA, Inc. and its customers from internal and external threats.

  • Lead the responses to security requests and questions from customers.

  • Conduct due-diligence activities relative to vendors and third parties.

  • Promote sharing of expertise through consulting, presentation, and documentation.

  • Report to and advise the Corporate Chief Information Security Officer.

  • Undertake additional duties as needed.


Required experience:

  • Significant demonstrated experience (5-10 years) as a cybersecurity leader and the responsibilities described above,

    with at least 3 years of management experience.

  • Experience in Global IT or consultancy companies is advantageous.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information security, cybersecurity, computer science, or related.

  • Higher education or equivalent professional experience is advantageous.

  • Professional certifications including Cloud Security Certifications, CRISC, CISSP, CISM, CISA, and/or other information security standards and best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, ISO 22301, ISO 27017, etc.), are advantageous.

Knowledge and Attributes:

  • Outstanding customer orientation.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to lead, encourage and influence staff across the organization, decision-making and priority identifying.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent C-Level management skills.

  • Goal oriented, team player, flexible and proactive.

  • Strong background in all aspects of IT.

  • Fast learner, with good analytical capacity and the ability to face new challenges.

  • Proven history of working independently in a self-motivated manner.

  • Extensive experience with creating management and executive-level reports.

  • Full English professional proficiency (C1 or higher).
