As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will report to the Regional Director of Business Development APJ. Your primary goals are to collaborate with our Named and Enterprise Account Executives to generate new and expansion business opportunities for WalkMe. It will require a more strategic approach than a standard pipeline development role. You will be tasked with mapping accounts we want to sell to, and creating strategic plans for opening discussions with them. Your performance will depend on your ability to expand WalkMe's client base and increase the annual recurring revenue (ARR) within your assigned territory.
What You'll Own:
- Expand WalkMe's client base!
- Create new business opportunities via outbound prospecting activities
- Nurture existing leads and promptly and effectively engage with all inbound interest
- Use creative communications designed to increase customer interest in WalkMe products
- Research prospective clients and acquire high-level contacts
- Book introductory meetings for Account Executives to generate pipeline for our organization
- Conduct high-level conversations with senior executives in target accounts
- Methodically qualify and manage a pipeline of target prospects; consistently maintain a high volume of activity including, but not limited to outbound cold calls, emails and social selling
- Promote WalkMe and the Digital Adoption model
What You Need to Succeed:
- 2 years of Outbound Lead generation experience
- You have grit and you don't give up easily
- Experience navigating organizational hierarchies, performing deep discovery and connecting with multiple stakeholders in an effort to secure an initial meeting for your Account Executive
- Interest in technical SaaS Sales and the Digital Adoption space
- Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent business experience
- Sales training and experience with Salesforce.com Outreach, Sales Navigator, 6Sense, and ZoomInfo are a plus
