* This position is placed in Malaysia and will be offered under local terms.

Responsibilities

  • Gathering and analysing market information for new projects, opportunities and industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Expanding our global footprint within the environmental sector, taking the lead in key priority markets including (coastal) flood risk and protection, nature-based solutions, ecosystem conservation and restoration, plus marine spatial planning.
  • Shaping strategies and leading Climate and Nature initiative development within cross-regional team.
  • Create and implement a scalable Geo-data value proposition tailored for the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) market.
  • Strategic planning in developing the pipeline of new businesses and market opportunities coming into Fugro.
  • Working closely with the Service Line Teams  to share information and leverage key contacts and relationships.
  • Coordinating with the relevant Key Account Managers to align the Global and regional strategy.
  • Communicating with the relevant Global teams on priority solutions (ie. Climate & Nature, Remote operations, UXO, etc.) for Fugro’s business development initiatives.
  • Working with the Commercial team to develop proposals that are targeted to address client’s needs.
  • Development of the Fugro sales strategies for the market, to ensure the attainment of company sales goals and profitability
  • Represent Fugro at industry events to generate leads.
  • Maintains the sales funnel and CRM management processes and systems .

Qualifications / Skills / Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ proven technical sales / business development expertise with an related field
  • Willingness to travel on a regular basis within Asia
  • Excellent listening and presentation skills
  • Solid analytical abilities
  • Great Team player
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build and nurture relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
