Job Responsibilities :

We are looking for a high-performing Enterprise Business Development Manager with deep expertise in the payment acquiring & technology ecosystem to drive enterprise sales, develop merchant-centric pricing models, and manage strategic scheme partnerships. The ideal candidate will be commercially savvy, contractually fluent, and highly responsive to merchant needs. The candidate will need to consolidate merchants’ requirements. Thereafter liaise closely with other internal stakeholders to put up business case to justify product/service enhancements.Primary responsibilities:

- Identify, hunt and secure enterprise-level merchants with complex payment needs.
- Lead end-to-end deal cycles including prospecting, solutioning, negotiation, and closing.
- Collaborate with product and tech teams to tailor payment solutions for large merchants.
- Work closely with Operations team for merchant submission & delivery of services.

- Work with Product management team to share concise stakeholder requirements for product development.
- Manage timeline for delivery of product or services to meet merchants demands.  
Pricing Strategy & Commercial submission:

- Design and present pricing models that balance between merchant acceptance and value with business profitability.

- Analyze transaction data and merchant behavior to optimize pricing structures.

- Work closely with finance and product teams to ensure pricing scalability and billability.

- Work closely with operations and merchant submission team to ensure onboarding of enterprise merchant profile are done accurately and timely.

Scheme Partner Management:

- Build and maintain relationship with payment schemes (e.g., Visa, Mastercard, JCB-SG, UnionPay-SG, AMEX-SG etc.) to liaise and deliver solutions that meets merchant needs.-

- Coordinate the drafting of operations manual between Merchant Referral Partner ("MRP"), card & wallet schemes & channel partners.

- Coordinate joint go-to-market initiatives and ensure compliance with scheme requirements.

- Monitor scheme developments and translate them into business opportunities.

Contractual Management:

- Review, interpret, and negotiate commercial agreements with merchants and partners.

- Ensure timely execution and follow-up on contractual obligations.

- Liaise with legal and compliance teams to manage risk and ensure alignment.

Merchant Support & Responsiveness:

- Act as the primary point of contact for merchant inquiries and escalations.

- Provide fast, accurate, and solution-oriented responses to ensure merchant satisfaction.

- Maintain a high standard of service and professionalism in all communications.

Pre-Requisites :

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Financial Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in business development or enterprise sales within the **payment technology**, fintech, or financial services industry.
- Familiarity with digital payments, e-commerce platforms, and cross-border payment solutions.

- Strong understanding of payment flows, merchant acquiring, and scheme dynamics.
- Proven ability to build pricing models and close complex enterprise deals.
- Experience in reading and managing commercial contracts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly responsive, organized, and customer-focused.

- Work well with strong team dynamics environment to achieve common goals.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Strong acute sense of alignment with management directives.
