Primary Objective/Purpose of the Job 

Reporting to the Senior Business Development Manager, the Business Development Manager is expected to deliver individual new-to-business sales volume and revenue targets whilst ensuring assigned deliverables and new solution implementation objectives are met.

Responsibilities

  • Work with management team to formulate, plan and execute new sales strategies

  •  Understand and deliver against assigned individual annual target

  • Aggressively negotiate for the most competitive but sustainable pricing for the business

  • Identify and own all new sales activities from opportunities to conversion while ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures for optimal merchant sales and services delivery.

  • Actively monitor market trends and activities. Understand and recommend new products or solutions to address evolving needs of merchants.

  • Collaborate across teams to improve merchant service and satisfaction level.


Knowledge and Skill Required 

NA

Experience 

  • 3 years and above business development and merchant solution sales experience in Payments and Fintech.

  • Entrepreneurial self-starter with a proven track record in generating and winning new account opportunities.

  • Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft office and Sales Force

  • Has a broad existing network within the payment ecosystem.

  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.

  • Good analytical, initiative and problem solving skills when dealing with external and internal customers.

Education  

  • Tertiary or above education preferred.
