GLG is seeking a Business Development Manager to oversee and grow a book of Private Equity client relationships in Singapore, while identifying and closing new logo opportunities across the market.

In this role, you will be the primary commercial owner for a set of existing PE accounts — driving renewals, deepening relationships across buying centres, and identifying expansion opportunities. Alongside this, you will run a defined new logo pipeline, targeting PE firms not yet engaged with GLG and moving them from first contact to close.

You will work closely with the service team to ensure clients are extracting value from their subscriptions, and leverage GLG's CRM tools to track account health, pipeline activity, and new business progress.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Renew and grow annual subscriptions across an existing book of PE clients in Singapore
  • Identify and develop new buying centres within current accounts
  • Build and manage a new logo pipeline — targeting PE firms across Singapore and the broader SEA market
  • Work directly with PE professionals from Associate to Partner level to embed GLG into their investment process
  • Build account plans with clear growth objectives and quarterback the service team to deliver against them
  • Partner with internal colleagues across sales, service, marketing, and legal to deliver solutions to complex client needs
  • Represent GLG's value proposition to senior decision makers across the PE market

At a minimum, you will have:

  • 5+ years of experience in account management or consultative B2B sales, ideally within the Singapore or broader SEA market
  • Proven track record of managing and growing subscription-based client relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to run new business cycles — from prospecting through to close
  • Strong consultative sales approach with experience engaging senior executives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Preferred but not essential: existing relationships within the Singapore PE or financial services community
  • Bachelor's degree or higher

We would love if you also had:

  • Deep understanding of the Private Equity investment process and how research and expert insight fits within it
  • Experience working across SEA markets and navigating regional stakeholder dynamics
  • Results-oriented track record with evidence of both retention and new business growth
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment while working with a high degree of autonomy
  • Superior communication skills — written and verbal — with the ability to engage and persuade on complex topics
  • A demonstrated ability to read clients and adapt commercial approach accordingly
  • Experience collaborating across global and cross-functional teams
