To drive the growth of SME Banking’s Forex (FX) and Deposit portfolio by supporting sales strategy, product development, and execution of business initiatives. Key Responsibilities

1. Business Growth & Portfolio Management

  • Manage and grow SME Banking’s FX and Deposit portfolio to achieve revenue and income targets.
  • Drive FX transaction volumes through SME client acquisition, retention, and cross-sell initiatives.
  • Support efficiency improvements by promoting digital adoption (e.g., e-statements, online FX transactions).
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to ensure CIMB’s SME FX offering remains competitive.

2. Product Development & Execution

  • Collaborate with Product and Treasury teams to design and roll out SME-focused FX solutions.
  • Translate sales and customer feedback into actionable enhancements for FX products and services.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of FX-related projects and campaigns.
  • Track FX transaction targets and implement contingency plans when performance gaps arise.

3. Sales Enablement & Channel Support

  • Support SME sales teams by setting FX transaction objectives and monitoring performance across regions.
  • Drive cross-sell and up-sell of FX solutions (e.g., increased utilization, hedging, trade financing integration).
  • Develop and roll out new sales initiatives and campaigns to capture high-value SME demographics.
  • Conduct regular FX-focused briefings with branch and segment teams to align execution with strategy.
  • Build SME salesforce FX competency through structured training and sales support.

4. Analytics & Reporting

  • Prepare weekly/monthly dashboards and management decks on FX volumes, pipeline, revenue, and campaign performance.
  • Apply data-driven analysis to prioritize opportunities and identify high-return SME segments.
  • Provide insights on pipeline health, transaction blockers, and enablers for senior management decision-making.
  • Develop marketing and sales collateral tailored for SME clients and internal sales enablement.
