Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across the exhibitions and events industry in the UAE and GCC. The successful candidate will identify and secure new clients, manage the complete sales cycle, develop long-term client relationships, and work closely with internal design and production teams to deliver commercially successful exhibition projects.

Responsibilities
  • Generate new business opportunities across exhibitions, trade shows, and brand events.
  • Build relationships with corporate clients, marketing teams, procurement departments, agencies, and event organisers.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting through contract award.
  • Conduct consultative meetings to understand client objectives and exhibition requirements.
  • Prepare detailed client briefs before engaging internal design teams.
  • Work closely with Design, Estimation, and Production teams throughout the proposal process.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Identify opportunities for repeat business, cross-selling, and account growth.
  • Represent the company at networking events and industry exhibitions.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
  • Ensure opportunities are properly qualified before committing internal resources.

RequirementsRequirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related discipline.
  • 4–6 years of B2B Business Development or Sales experience.
  • Previous experience within Exhibition Design & Build, Events, Experiential Marketing or Project-based Services is highly preferred.
  • Strong consultative selling experience.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Proven ability to achieve revenue targets.
  • Experience using CRM systems.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Fluent English.
  • Arabic is an advantage.
  • UAE Driving Licence is mandatory.
  • Self-motivated with excellent relationship management skills.
