On behalf of one of its clients in the F&B industry, the French Chamber of Commerce is seeking a Business Development Executive.

Our client is an international food manufacturing group with a long-standing heritage and strong entrepreneurial roots. With over a century of expertise, the company has evolved into a global player operating dozens of production sites worldwide.  

Driven by ambitious expansion plans, the organization is looking to strengthen its presence in Southeast Asia by hiring talents who can deepen market insights and build lasting partnerships with customers across the region.

Our client is seeking a driven Business Development Executive to support growth across both foodservice and retail channels in Singapore. This role involves close collaboration with regional stakeholders in Asia and global teams, contributing to commercial expansion and market penetration strategies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build a solid understanding of the Singapore F&B landscape, including customer segments, distribution channels, and emerging trends
  • Develop and manage a portfolio of food-service clients, establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders (e.g. business owners, chefs, product development teams)
  • Identify new business opportunities and actively prospect within the F&B ecosystem
  • Plan and deliver product presentations, tastings, and demonstrations in collaboration with internal teams and external partners
  • Work closely with distributors to support sales growth, monitor orders, and ensure efficient stock management
  • Set and execute sales strategies aligned with business objectives, tracking performance and reporting progress
  • Collaborate with regional counterparts across Asia and global teams to share insights and implement best practices


Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in sales within the Singapore F&B industry, ideally in ingredients, beverages, or foodservice
  • Strong curiosity for food trends, innovation, and market dynamics
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and build trust with clients
  • Results-oriented mindset with strong commercial awareness
  • Independent, well-organized, and proactive in problem-solving
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin, with Mandarin required to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients
  • Additional languages are an advantage
