Department Overview

The Sales department is responsible for the strategic planning of overall business growth, identifying opportunities with new companies and clients for all Monex currency products (FX Spot, Forwards, Options), as well as maintaining relationships with existing companies and clients, increasing their business revenue, and cross- collaborating with the Introductory Affiliates department wherever possible.

Job Overview

The Business Development Executive will work with the sales team to drive new

business revenue, building strong client relationships and working closely with key functions such as Dealing, Compliance and Risk to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. This role will involve cold outreach and provides a stepping stone into the sales team if KPI’s are met.

Successful candidates will join a fast-paced environment in a globally renowned FX brokerage. Rigorous sales training will be provided along with ongoing training and sales support.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities include:

  • Sourcing, prospecting & lead generating
  • Establish good relationship with the clients
  • Maintaining current market knowledge to keep abreast in the industry
  • Maintaining accurate pipeline and forecast
  • Meeting monthly, quarterly and yearly targets

Business Knowledge / Technical Skills:

  • Previous sales experience within a Business to Business (B2B) role.
  • Experience of working within a regulated financial services firm is highly
  • desirable.
  • Proven history of operating at an Associate level within a commercial sales
  • environment (both face-to-face and telephone sales).
  • Able to clearly articulate a full understanding of end-to-end sales processes.
  • Able to demonstrate strong sales techniques (Persuasive, Negotiation & Closing
  • skills).
  • Understanding the purpose of risk management and compliance within a
  • regulated environment.
  • Some knowledge of FX products
