What you will be responsible for:


Site Sourcing & Evaluation

  • Source, screen, and evaluate potential data center development sites globally (excluding North America) through outbound calls, targeted research, industry events, and third-party brokers.
  • Maintain active pipelines of power-qualified sites and filter for feasibility, risks, and commercial viability.

Investment Analysis & Recommendations

  • Build and refine investment theses for shortlisted sites, including commercial, technical, and regulatory assessments.
  • Prepare recommendation materials for senior leadership to support go/no-go decisions.

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Monitor global data center, AI infrastructure, and Bitcoin mining market trends to identify emerging opportunities and risks.
  • Translate market insights into actionable sourcing strategies for power, land, and partnerships.

Commercial Structuring & Negotiation Support

  • Convert strategic direction into commercial terms, draft proposal outlines, and support negotiation processes for land, power, and infrastructure agreements.
  • Coordinate with brokers, utilities, and counterparties to advance deals through the acquisition funnel.

Cross-Functional Handover & Execution

  • Communicate approved commercial terms and site details to internal project management and construction teams.
  • Ensure smooth handover of site packages to support on-time procurement, permitting, and energization milestones.

How you will stand out:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Electrical Engineering, Energy/Power, Real Estate, or related fields.
  • Comfortable with flexible working hours and frequent domestic/overseas business travel; includes occasional weeknight or weekend coordination with global teams.
  • 0–3 years of experience in site acquisition, data centres, real estate, energy markets, utilities, project finance, or related fields.
  • Strong interest in data centre infrastructure, energy markets, and/or cryptocurrency mining.
  • Able to perform both qualitative and quantitative assessments of complex, layered commercial deals.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to make informed recommendations under time pressure.
  • Proficiency in building pitch decks, writing investment memos, and presenting insights clearly.
  • Ability to use GenAI tools effectively for research and drafting while still exercising independent judgment and critical reasoning.
