About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Business Analyst with strong experience in liquidity risk management, project management, and solid working knowledge of SQL. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, driving the development and implementation of liquidity risk solutions, regulatory reporting enhancements, and system improvements.


RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for liquidity risk, funding, and treasury-related projects.
  • Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for development teams.
  • Work closely with risk, treasury, finance, and technology counterparts to design end-to-end solutions.
  • Support creation of process flows, data mapping, and system impact assessments.
  • Manage medium to large-scale IT initiatives from inception to delivery.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, risk logs, and stakeholder communication materials.
Liquidity Risk & Regulatory
  • Provide subject matter expertise on liquidity risk concepts such as LCR, NSFR, intraday liquidity, stress testing, and funding ratios.
  • Assist in interpreting regulatory requirements and assessing system changes for compliance.
  • Collaborate with business users to validate risk measures, data quality, and model outputs.

Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst within banking or financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of liquidity risk management and regulatory frameworks (LCR, NSFR, ALM, intraday liquidity).
  • Proven experience managing projects or workstreams using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Proficiency in SQL (Joins, subqueries, data validation, performance analysis).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead discussions with both business and technical teams.
