Seeking experienced Business Analyst to join the Data Hub Team. The Analyst’s primary focus is to participate in the Projects related to onboarding of data points related to launch of new products and enhancements. Ensuring that all new data sourcing is fit for purpose in various downstream consumption platforms (Power BI, Python applications etc).
MAIN DUTIES
 

• Prepare and design test scenarios for data feeds going into EBP
• Prepare transformation specs for data from relevant platforms to ready it for consumption downstream 
• Co-ordinate with upstream and downstream teams to facilitate testing 
• Actively manage UAT progress and issues within project timelines and to update team leads
• Participate in the verification of data migration and go live checks
• Participate in ad hoc tasks/projects in support of department’s initiatives
• Document metadata and lineage for bank's critical reports
• Liaise with Technology teams to ensure documented metadata is available and tested for consumption in metadata management tool
• Resolve technical issues with Technology teams on irregular or data quality issues related to metadata documentation

QUALIFICATIONS

• Conversant with database technologies, financial accounting and reconciliations.
• Good team player with ability to demonstrate initiative and work well with minimal supervision and within tight timelines
• Strong attention to details and good analytical and problem-solving skills.
