Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with expertise in bullion and precious metals trading systems. The role involves working closely with stakeholders, traders, operations, and technology teams to gather requirements, analyze processes, and deliver solutions that enhance trading, risk, settlement, and reporting functionalities. The ideal candidate will bring domain knowledge in bullion/commodities and strong analytical and documentation skills to bridge the gap between business and technology.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with traders, risk managers, operations, and IT teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for bullion trading workflows.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Work on front-to-back processes including trade capture, pricing, risk management, settlement, and reporting for bullion and related commodities.
- Ensure alignment of requirements with business objectives, compliance, and regulatory standards.
- Conduct gap analysis, impact analysis, and propose system/process improvements.
- Support technology teams during solution design, development, testing, and implementation phases.
- Perform UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and validate deliverables before production release.
- Act as a bridge between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of projects.
- Maintain and update documentation, workflows, and business process models.
- Provide post-implementation support and training for users.
- 6+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in bullion, commodities, or financial trading systems.
- Strong knowledge of bullion/precious metals products, trading lifecycle, settlement, and risk management processes.
- Experience working in financial markets with exposure to front-office, middle-office, and back-office workflows.
- Proficiency in requirement gathering, BRD, FRD, user stories, and process documentation.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with trading systems (e.g., Openlink, Murex, or other commodity trading platforms) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
- Exposure to Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
