Job Description

We are seeking a BIM Manager specializing in Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) systems to join our team in Singapore. In this pivotal role, you will lead our BIM implementation efforts for M&E projects, ensuring seamless integration of building systems and optimizing our design and construction processes.

  • Develop and implement BIM strategies for M&E projects, aligning with organizational goals and industry best practices
  • Coordinate with various disciplines (architecture, structural, and M&E) to ensure proper integration of building systems in BIM models
  • Establish and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and workflows for M&E projects
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on BIM models to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to define BIM deliverables and ensure timely completion
  • Troubleshoot complex modeling issues and provide innovative solutions
  • Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies and M&E systems advancements, implementing improvements as necessary
  • Preparation of BEP
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, including consultants and contractors, to ensure smooth BIM execution throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in BIM implementation for M&E projects
  • Proficiency in BIM software, particularly Autodesk Revit and Navisworks
  • Strong knowledge of M&E systems and design principles
  • Demonstrated experience in managing BIM teams and coordinating with multiple disciplines
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • In-depth understanding of M&E systems in building construction
  • Familiarity with local building codes and standards in Singapore
  • Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry trends
