Project Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Sigma BI Developer for a critical, time-sensitive migration project. The primary goal is to migrate our company's entire suite of Business Intelligence dashboards from Looker to Sigma. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role with a firm completion deadline of the end of November. The ideal candidate is a Sigma expert who can quickly understand existing data structures and build new dashboards efficiently and accurately.

Engagement Details:

  • Type: Full-time Contract

  • Location: Remote (candidates based in APAC)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute a "like-for-like" migration of existing dashboards from our current platform, Looker, to Sigma.

  • Design, develop, and deploy robust, interactive, and visually effective dashboards in Sigma from the ground up.

  • Work directly with our data warehouse in Snowflake, requiring a solid understanding of its underlying data structures.

  • Assist in mapping Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and data attributes from the legacy system to the new Sigma environment.

  • Connect, test, and validate new dashboards to ensure data accuracy and functionality, preparing them for a seamless transition.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Expert-level proficiency in Sigma: You must be a "power user" who can build dashboards efficiently and effectively, as this is the core technical requirement.

  • Experience with Snowflake: Proven ability to connect to and build visualizations from data stored in Snowflake.

  • Dashboard Development: A strong portfolio or demonstrated experience in building complex BI dashboards.

  • Advanced English Proficiency: Excellent verbal communication skills are mandatory to collaborate effectively with the team and avoid language barriers.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have):

  • Looker Experience: Previous experience with Looker is a significant plus, as it will help you understand the source dashboards you will be migrating.

  • Familiarity with other BI tools: Experience with platforms like Tableau or Power BI is beneficial.

  • Data Mapping Skills: Experience mapping data elements between different systems.

  • Strong SQL Skills: Ability to write and understand SQL queries for data validation and analysis.
