Backend Developer (.NET Core, Microservices)

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Backend Developer to join our dynamic team supporting a high-impact digital transformation project in the investment services domain.

You will lead the design, development, and implementation of robust microservices using .NET Core, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance applications. If you thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and love tackling complex problems, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable, microservices-based applications using .NET Core.

  • Collaborate with product managers, front-end developers, and QA engineers to deliver end-to-end features.

  • Ensure high performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

  • Write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive unit and integration tests (TDD approach).

  • Conduct code reviews, mentor junior team members, and uphold best practices.

  • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues efficiently.

  • Stay current with modern backend development trends and technologies.

  • Contribute to architectural discussions and development strategies.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related disciplines.

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in backend development with a strong focus on the .NET ecosystem.

  • Deep expertise in .NET Core, C#, Entity Framework Core.

  • Proven track record in designing and implementing microservices architecture.

  • Experience with event-driven architecture and Kafka.

  • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, web services, and API security best practices.

  • Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

  • Solid understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
