As an experienced Cloud Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS. You will take ownership of features and services, contribute to technical decisions, and collaborate closely with architects and DevOps teams.
What You’ll Do
- Design and build scalable backend services and APIs on AWS
- Develop serverless and container-based applications
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Integrate applications with AWS services (Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, etc.)
- Implement security, logging, monitoring, and performance best practices
- Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
- Troubleshoot and optimise applications in production environments
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews
- 3+ years of hands-on AWS development experience
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Node.js, or similar
- Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices
- Solid understanding of AWS core services and architectures
- Experience with serverless and/or containerised workloads
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
- Exposure to cloud security and cost optimisation principles
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
- Work on enterprise-scale AWS implementations
- Exposure to complex, real-world cloud architectures
