The Talent Management Leader will report to the Global Head of Talent Management & Development and will be responsible for leading an experienced team with a worldwide focus. The role serves as the bridge between our global talent strategy and the implementation of career management, talent identification, succession planning, strategic pipeline development, and the integration of these efforts with the global business.
The role involves providing strategic advisory by understanding the organizational business strategy and offering guidance to Senior HR Partners on current and future talent plans. A strong business acumen is essential, enabling alignment of talent strategies with the business's strategic objectives. Building and maintaining robust relationships with stakeholders at all levels is critical, requiring excellent interpersonal skills. The role demands curiosity and thought leadership, with a proactive approach to learning and staying updated on industry trends and best practices in talent management and strategic workforce planning. Data insights are crucial, requiring the ability to analyze data, apply sound judgment, and use insights to inform talent strategies and decision-making. A customer-centric focus ensures exceptional experiences for employees and leaders globally, with a commitment to continuous improvement. Collaboration skills facilitate effective work with cross-functional teams, while influencing skills are necessary to gain support for talent initiatives. The role demands creativity and innovation in developing talent management solutions, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and leadership and coaching abilities to empower colleagues and drive engagement and high performance. Key interactions include collaborating with HR Partners, Talent Acquisition and Employee Experience Centers of Excellence, Shared Services, and the Global Culture Center of Excellence to align and integrate talent management processes with broader HR and business objectives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with an I/O background a plus
- At least 5 years’ experience in the Financial Services industry preferred
- 10+ years HR leadership experience; Talent management, HRP, Executive Assessments & Coaching, Learning & Development experience an asset
- Previous experience inspiring, developing, coaching and leading teams to deliver their best
- Previous consulting experience and strong influencing skills a plus
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Ability to quickly establish integrity & trust
- Strong intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong program management, organizational and follow up skills when presented with multiple priorities in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated client-centric mindset and ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Excellent strategic visioning, organization, and time management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.
- Attention to detail.
- Being able to work autonomously, self-starter
- Digital fluency and an aptitude for data analysis
- Flexibility to attend and participate in conference calls that are convenient for stakeholders and team members in both North America and Asia.
